Reborn
Pyro explodes throughout The Grounds, the state of the art wrestling specific building that is the headquarters for Redemption Wrestling. All 19,000 seats are sold out, the venue at max capacity as “Full Circle” by Five Finger Death Punch plays. After panning the arena and the crowd, the camera cuts to the two man commentary team of JJ Adams, on play by play, and Johnson McConnell, on color.
JJ Adams: Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you to Salvation 150: Rise Again.
Johnson McConnell: God it feels good to be back. I hate to say it, but I’ve missed you JJ.
JJ Adams: I’ve missed working with you, too, Johnson. But what a night we have to welcome all the great fans back here on our debut on Prime Video. We have an action packed night that’ll see the returns of Lucky Keenan and Agony as they face off here tonight, along with the debuts of Chance Field, son of the Redemption founder, Tony Field, as he faces off against a hometown favorite in Clay Cash.
Johnson McConnell: A match I’m excited to see. Another Field in Redemption? This is historic. And if he’s anything like his father and his brother, we are in for a treat.
JJ Adams: We’ll also see four newcomers; Lyric, Emily Simms, Jake Mason, and Arley Kirk, in a four way match.
Johnson McConnell: That’s right, JJ. And Lyric is currently carrying what is the sanctioned Television Championship, a belt she won in Payne Project and has held ever since, so I’m sure this match could have some long term title implications if one of the other three newcomers can come away with a victory in their first showing here in Redemption. But enough of that, JJ, let's talk about the debut of Draco Dragotta. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this man. If half of what I’ve heard is true, he’s going to be a difference maker here in Redemption.
JJ Adams: Could be, and we’ll find out tonight when he makes his debut against Redemption veteran and fan favorite, Johnny Payne. Then to cap off tonight's card, we have two loaded main events. In the first one we have Scarlett Payne taking on Rosie Sinn, as the two long time Redemption wrestlers cross paths for the first time. And on the other end, we have our current World Champion, and your favorite wrestler, Johnson, Jason Sandman, taking on a former world champion herself in Casey Holliday, as she makes her debut.
Johnson McConnell: And that’s a helluva way to end the night. I mean, the most violent and underrated star in the history of Redemption, taking on what could very well be the new flavor of the fans. I mean, I have to take my guy Sandman, but either way, it’s going to be a great way to close out the night.
Commentary is then cut off as “Good Man” by Devour the Day plays. The fans jump from their seats and start to cheer as former World Champion, and now owner of Redemption, Derek Daughtery, steps into the arena. Derek takes a few steps on to the ramp and enjoys the cheers of the crowd. Once they quiet down, he starts to talk.
Derek Daughtery: Hello, St. Louis, it’s great to be back!
The crowd pops.
Derek Daughtery: Now I won’t keep you long, because you paid to see a wrestling show, not to watch some old retired wrestler take up your time.
The fans start to chant “One More Match” at Derek.
Derek Daughtery: Nah, I’m retired. I just came out here to welcome everyone back, and to let you know, while this is the same Redemption, it’s different as well. No more micromanaging from the front office. No more angling for the next hand chosen champion. This will be a time and era where the deeds in the ring and the wants of the crowd are honored. This will be Redemption: Last Stand!
The crowd pops.
Derek Daughtry: I’ve worked hard, and I’m still working hard to bring you the stars you know, while also giving you the stars of tomorrow. I’m doing all I can do to give you the heritage of Redemption while honoring the present. That’s why, while honoring the current World Champion and Television Champion as a part of our heritage, I’m bringing to you the new Championship Choice belt. A belt that will allow the holder to take an advantage over any title match. Starting tonight, I’m watching everyone closely, seeing who impresses me, and at our first Gold Edition, I plan to crown our first Championship Choice champ. Now, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the show.
“Good Man” plays again as the crowd roars. Derek gives a bow and a wave to the crowd before making his exit.
Walk Away
JJ Adams: That was a great and encouraging message from Derek Daughtery. Our new owner seems focused on making Redemption a company to get respected again.
Johnson McConnell: Indeed JJ. This truly is a moment to be treasured. Without further ado I believe we are going to learn more about one of the newest recruits by the name of Arley….
Johnson McConnell’s microphone cuts off as a very professional sounding voice comes over the speakers.
PA Voice: The following message has been paid for by Deal With It Bitch Productions. It does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Redemption Wrestling, Derek Daughtery, Teresa LaChance, it’s sponsors, Amazon Prime, or any other affiliate. Just those that matter.
Everything Ends by Slipknot comes over the speakers and the fans give a mixed reaction as Jason makes his way out to the ramp. The World title is around his neck. In his right hand is a chair that’s been wrapped in barbed wire. Sandman looks at the audience before making a methodical walk down the ramp. At ringside, he throws the chair and the title over the ropes before sliding into the ring. As soon Sandman is in the ring, he gets onto his feet and goes to get a microphone. Jason gets the microphone and throws the Redemption display back at the ringside attendant. Making his way to the center of the ring, Jason can hear people discussing how he is acting and anything and everything about his appearance. Jason gives a half smile before speaking.
Jason Sandman: St. Louis….Shut the fuck up. I’m talking.
The fans boo momentarily before quieting down.
Jason Sandman: So it would seem that Derek Daughtery has bought back the rights to Redemption, and he was happy with his hood words. Then he found out he had a problem. I am the goddamn World Champion of his company. Believe me, that was almost a deal breaker. He made me offer after offer. Money, homes, and luxuries that would make Jeff Bezos cum. Hell, he offered to pay for both of my children’s college all the way up to medical school if they so wished. It was tempting, but what the fuck am I going to do with all that shit. My kids ain’t going to college. They can barely make it to school and that shits online. No, I am a simple man with a simple plan. I am going to personally burn this company to the ground. No matter what they’ve called this place it’s always been the “Fuck Sandman Clubhouse”. But now, the inmate runs the asylum. Fuck Derek Daughtery. Fuck Teresa LaChance. Fuck anyone who they got hidden in the back to pop up as a surprise authority figure. This is my fucking house, and all of you cunts are just here needing to pay me rent. Rent for the pleasure of my company and rent so I don’t start shoving whatever’s available in all three holes.
Jason Sandman let’s out a laugh.
Jason Sandman: But let’s not ruin all the horrors you are going to be facing, or in Lyric’s case all the dreams she’s had about things she wants me to do to her. Let’s move onto more important things like why in the blue hell did we get rid of Tony and Noah Field only to get Chance.
Jason Sandman just rubs his eyes in frustration.
Jason Sandman: Walk away. Just fucking walk away Chance. There is no need for you to have to suffer for the sins of your family’s name.
Jason Sandman takes a deep breath.
Jason Sandman: I FUCKING HATE the Field bloodline and I am going to drain the cesspool that they continue to pollute the world with. Just fucking walk away Chance. Before that cocky gene makes you another notch on my gun.
Sandman pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket. The paper is a list of known wrestlers signed to Redemption.
Jason Sandman: Let’s see who else is here. Oh Rosie Sinn. Waste of a good pair of tits. Beat her for that belt over there. Figured she’d have crawled into a nice heroin habit. Who else? Oh Casey Holliday. Learned that name like three minutes ago.
Jason puts the paper back in his pocket.
Jason Sandman: Let’s see if I can remember the facts right. Former World Champion. Wouldn’t fuck the promoter so he screwed her out the belt. Sounds like a real cocksmoke who ran his company like a cult. But that’s just bridges we set ablaze ourselves. No need to worry about souls that will be tortured later. Let’s remember souls that were lost well before their time. Casey, I am sure when you heard that you were going up against the world champion you creamed a little. You started asking around and maybe even did a little research of who Daddy was. That’s when your heart dropped, and you felt a cold chill going down your spine. That’s me baby. The thing is though you might be half decent. You seem like you just want to prove your worth by being in Redemption. I’ll probably let you prove a point before doomsday strikes. Doomsday is coming Casey. The horns will be blaring and whatever deity you call unto will reach out their hand and call you home. Why you may ask. I don’t know. I’m just fucking bored and want to see something squirm.
Jason Sandman just drops the microphone before walking over to where his chair and belt landed. Sandman picks them up, and flips out of the ring before heading to the back.
Suicidal Tendencies
An incredibly energetic video package comes up on the RedempTRON and there is a big pop from a lot of the fans as they recognize the familiar batpoop crazy stylings of "The Suicide Blonde", Arley Kirk, and we hear her voice over come into play.
Arley Kirk (voice over): I have a need..
In the video, the fans see Arley take a run up, leap off a fold out chair to the top rope and sky twister press onto a pack of opponents on the outside. An NFW commentator expresses his utter disbelief.
Matt Salvatore: ARE YOU FREAKIN YANKING ME RIGHT NOW?
The video switches up to Arley springing to the top, ropewalking and going to hurricanrana Rei Park, yet she shoves her partner, Jacob Striker, in her path. Undeterred, Arley switches trajectory, springs off his shoulders and DRILLS Rei's partner, Jenni Drew, with a Michi-Destroyer from 6ft high!
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Marci D'Abruzzo: MADWOMAN!!
Arley Kirk (voice over): It's a simple need.
We then see a rabid Japanese crowd growing more rabid as a heavily bleeding Arley sets up a table X and then rolls Super Tiger onto it before she deftly climbs the rigging poles.
Arley Kirk (voice over): It's the need to break new ground, any which way someone wants to lay it out, I gotta be turning over that soil! There's gotta be something more..buried within.
In the video, Arley reappears atop the tron and a split second later, Arley has spun around and leapt off, delivering the most insane looking phoenix splash some have ever witnessed. It all goes to nought as Tiger rolls out of the way just in time and a loud *CRACK* sound issues as Arley plunges through her own contraption.
Arley Kirk (voice over): You dig deep enough, and you want it bad enough? You're gonna find it!
The crowd POP once more as rhe video washes away and we switch it up to AK in realtime. Arley appears onscreen in the hallway of The Grounds. She's all suited up for her four way contest tonight, and is clearly brimming with energy!
Arley Kirk: YUH, ST. LOUIE!!
Crowd: YUH, GRRRL!
Arley Kirk: The rumors are 100, yo. Here the heck I am, ready to show Redemption what this ol' Luchacore thang be all 'bout! And heck. What better way to do it than bein' jammed in a four way? Haha..four way..
Arley gets a giggle from the fans as her immaturity shines through.
Arley Kirk: No, no. Seriously. I can't WAIT to come on out there. I'ma take it to a dude more than twice my size tonight in Jake freakin Mason! Hey. Amish guys are cool, and it's nothing personal my dude, but I'ma run them proverbial rings around you! You WON'T know what hit ya until you're counting them lights. I'ma also get the opportunity to bash heads with Emily gotdang Simms!
There's a POP for Emily and AK gives them a thumbs up.
Arley Kirk: We're of very similar size, but seemingly very different disciplines, yo. Crazy meets methodical in the best fakkin' way tonight, let's go let's GO!!
The crowd gets right behind this with a rousing pop. Arley's face and the volume and tone of her voice slowly rises in intensity as she starts to bounce from side to side on the spot.
Arley Kirk: Ya know what else?? Tonight, I also meet with the reigning Redemption Television champion in Lyric! Hello, Lyric. We're... waaaaay too similar, and this is gonna be ELECTRIC. I know a thing or two about gold, having just come off a 461 day World title run, and you better believe, that has left a gotdang VOID. You also better believe that I'm comin' for that TV strap to fill it!
Arley beams as she waits a second for the fans to die down. She doesn't really make them want to be quiet as she makes heart hands.
Arley Kirk: Man you guys are more enthusiastic than me, and I'm getting ready to EXPLODE!
Yet another pop issues as AK leaps up and hits the mid air splits before landing and throwing some quick shadow punches.
Arley Kirk: AAAARGH!! I gots SO much more to say, but I can't take it no more!! I'ma let the rest come out in the ring! AK out!
The promo closes out on Arley as she raises a fist and then starts bolting at full lace through the halls in an effort to keep her abundant energy at bay.
Arley Kirk vs Jake Mason vs Lyric vs. vs Emily Simms
The feed cuts to the Redemption Studios, where we find Adam Lowe standing behind his desk. Behind him are 4K television screens showing the Redemption logo before changing to show the images of the combatants of the first match. The camera zooms in and Adam Lowe turns on the charm.
Adam Lowe: Hello ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the return of Redemption Wrestling. It has been a long, hard road to get to this moment, but here we are. We’ve already heard from our World Champion, Jason Sandman and just moments ago, we heard from Arley Kirk who will be competing in our opening match of the evening. Along with Arley Kirk, we will also see Emily Simms, Jake Mason, and our Television Champion, Lyric.
Arley Kirk is a former world champion who has forged the 'luchacore' style. AK has built a name across Mexico, Japan, the UK, and several territories of North America with her feats of athleticism. You gotta see it to believe it, man. This chick is as batshit insane as she is captivating to watch!
Emily Simms is a vibrant blond who has been involved with wrestling since high school. Wrestling is in her family as her father, Corey Simms was an amateur wrestler until he had to retire after suffering a broken neck. She’s far from new to YouTube where she has a channel with her manager and best friend, Eric Winters.
Jake Mason is a man of mystery. Not a lot is truly known about this man other than he seems to have appeared out of nowhere. I have looked into his past and there is no record that he exists.
Lyric, as I just said, is our Television Champion. She has defended that belt proudly throughout the world and has made the Redemption name proud. Now we have her home and I am sure she is ready to prove she deserves the belt now that she’s back with the best of the best.
Our action began the way so many of these four way matches begin. With one soul getting pounced on by the other three in the match. Jake Mason was that unlucky soul who was quickly circled by the three ladies in the match, and was quickly tossed out of the ring. From there, the three ladies went after each other and tried to prove their dominance.
The action moved around the ring, with both Emily Simms and Arley Kirk taking dives out of the ring to keep Mason out while Lyric and whomever else was in the ring at the time used every inch of space to their advantage. We move now to ringside with JJ Adams and Johnson McConnell for the conclusion of this match.
…
Lyric throws Arley Kirk to the ropes, and looks to charge in with a closeline, but Kirk has other ideas as she stops herself and delivers a pele kick to the champion. Lyric drops to the mat and Arley looks ready to go to the top ropes, but it is cut off by Jake Mason, who looks ready to deliver a superkick to Arley only to take a shot to her knees and snap suplexes her into the turnbuckles.
JJ Adams: Jake Mason looks to be in control of this match as he drops Arley Kirk back first into the turnbuckles.
Johnson McConnell: This has definitely been a fast moving match, as the ladies want to keep the pace moving. Mason, on the other hand, looks ready to slow things down and give a more methodical approach to things.
Jake Mason turns his attention to Lyric, as he wants to be the one who puts the champion away. Jake Mason starts to lift Lyric up, but his efforts seem moot as Emily Simms comes into the ring and rolls Mason up.

Mason is able to kick out of the pin and roll back to his feet. As he does, both Arley Kirk and Emily Simms both deliver a drop kick. Kirk’s to his back and Emily’s to his chest.
JJ Adams: Arley Kirk and Emily Simms seem to have an understanding as to how they want to win this match.
Johnson McConnell: Indeed they do, but they need to remember that this isn’t a tag team match and only one of them can win.
Emily Simms motions to Kirk that Lyric is getting to her feet and Arley pulls Mason up to his feet. Mason uses his size advantage and whips Arley into the ropes as hard as he can, throwing himself back down to the mat. The throw causes Arley Kirk to crash into Emily Simms and both ladies go over the top ropes, crashing to the floor below.
JJ Adams: And the alliance may be over as Arley Kirk’s inexperience caused her to lose focus and now neither her nor Emily Simms are on the inside.
Johnson McConnell: They are both to their feet and Emily is telling Arley how she feels about Kirk’s mistake. Arley starts throwing punches and the two of them are throwing shots.
Lyric realizes the situation she has in front of her and quickly springs to the top ropes and comes off the top turnbuckle with Wheel of Fortune on Jake Mason.

Trinity Nicole: The winner of the match...and your Television Champion....LYRIC!!!
Lyric gets to her feet as “Concrete” by Poppy blares over the arena. She rolls out of the ring and picks up the Television Title as Jake Mason lays in the ring confused about what just happened.
Security runs over and attempts to break up the brawl happening between Emily Simms and Arley Kirk. The two ladies both look to be out for blood.
