Standard Rules:
Matches, Segments, Seg Claiming
Divisions
Angle Based
More to come as needed.
- Be respectful of everyone. We are a very tolerant fed and do want you to express your opinions, but you will be respectful of this federation, it's staff, and it's handlers
- Social media: We are an efed, and we do rely on our reputation of both the fed and our handlers to attrach outside viewers and new talent. As such, we will not tolerate anything our roster arguing or flaming others on any form of social media when it comes to fedding issues. We aren't talking your personal views on issues, we mean being disrespectful in a way that will reflect badly on Redemption and it's handlers. Falls back to be respectful.
- Plagiarism: Recycling your own stuff for another federation to do here, while might be frowned upon if we the staff know about it, it is your stuff and you won't be penalized for it. However, if you didn't write it, it's not yours, don't use it.
- Character Usage: If it's not your character, it's not yours to use. If you need to use a character that is not your own then either a) get them to write the character with you or b) get permission from said person to use their character.
**These are the only rules that can you get fired or suspended. Typically a first offense will be a suspension and a second offense for the same thing will be termination. However, depending on the severity of the situation or the lack of severity, it's also at the staffs discretion.
Matches, Segments, Seg Claiming
- Seg Claiming: Each week will come out with next weeks card in an outline format that will include spots for segments. You can them claim segments to add to the show. We do this so we get a good flow for the show. You will be able to claim ONE seg per character you handle. Anything more than one segment you must get approval from staff for. However, your character can appear in a segment with someone else if you want to co-author a seg with someone else that they claimed, thus creating a chance for multiple segments.
- Segments: All segments will be treated as if they are on air and need to either develop your character, push your character, or push your feud. We really want to avoid filler segments such as "I arrived at the arena".
- Matches: I find that most people really only care about the finish so that's all we will write. I will write a short intro to the match treated as in studio host. The idea being that you have two versions of the show to watch, the full two/three hour version, or the shortened version on YouTube. We are posting the shortened version. So the host will do an introduction to the match and hit any highlights that need to be hit, then we will cut to a "live finish" of the match, featuring the build up to the final moments of the match that determined a winner or lack of.
I will write matches unless you want to write yours. Endings will be decided by the participants and approved by staff.
Divisions
- Men versus Women: This is much debated in feds. In Redemption the women will compete with the men. I've always maintained that it's fiction anyway with a sense of disbelief. This is farther implemented into my mind now that Luch Underground has become a major force in wrestling and they have the women competing with and defeating the men.
- Angle Division: This is an angle based fed. Your matches are predetermined and rather than to win a match via a RP, what you are doing is earning your place on the card, your "push" based off your work and ability to get yourself and your feud over. See details on the rules of this division below.
Angle Based
- Feuds: The crux of this division is a good feud. If you have a specific person you want to feud with then let staff know. If not we will place you with a feud partner and determine how long the feud will run. It is up to you to figure out how to make the feud work, however. But if you get off track or are having issues, or if staff just needs something specific, we will step in and give guidance and ideas or suggestions
- Segments: This is another key of the division. You are not required to write roleplays, therefore the segment is this divisions version of the roleplay. Use these segments to get your character and/or your feud over.
- Pushes: Pushes, title shots, reigns, etc will be determined based off of how over you get your character and/or feud. The angle based portion is no different than WWE in a way. Its about earning your spot on the card.
