This is voluntary. Nothing said here is to be taken personal. It’s designed to know what’s working and what’s not. No personal shots.

Face of the Night: Johnny Payne Heel of the Night: Chance Field Wrestler of the Night: Rikers Best Segment: this is tough. All were good, but my favorites were the 2X seg and Slade/Pandora. Coin flip there. Best Match: Emily Simms vs Tiffany Dixie. Good storytelling. Best Feud/Story/Angle: Johnny Payne vs Draco Dragotta
Comments: Great show. Not a weak spot on the card. And good storytelling in all of the matches. That’s an important thing you don’t see enough of.

Face of the Night: Rosie Sinn Heel of the Night: Chance Field Wrestler of the Night: Casey Holliday Best Segment: Rosie Sinn Best Match: Lucky Keenan vs Slade Best Feud/Story/Angle: Dement/Mason vs Holliday/Sandman with mention of Trixie/Cross
Comments: Great show. And I’m Team Jinx and Bael. And if Trixie had a t-shirt I’d so buy it
Wish we’d see some kind of writing from Vebbins and Dixie. Both are yet to write anything.

Going to try something different and go piece by piece. Then my award picks at the bottoM.
Rosie Seg: Loved this segment. The crowd interaction adds a great face dynamic to the character. This really let you connect with the character is why she’s one of the fastest rising faces.
Cross Seg: This shows that less can be more and you don’t need length to get over. What I love about this is he’s in a feud for the Dominion belt, but yet is working with said person to get more gold. Plus it’s nice to see someone take a curve I threw them on Twitter and run with it.
Rawlings Seg 1: C’mon, who doesn’t like seeing Redemption’s favorite asshole get tased and piss himself. Not as funny as the last time, but it builds.
Simms vs Dixie: I wrote it so won’t comment on that portion. But I did like the idea of April’s to have Simms having concussion like symptoms cost her the match. Made it fun to write.
Slade Seg: This was a good continuation of the reintroduction of Slade to let those who don’t know him see some of the traits of the characters. Wouldn’t have minded a bit of dialogue on Lucky because I THINK they have a little history with each other from days of Redemption past.
Emily Seg: I liked the continuation of the injury from the match. What I would have liked to have seen added is maybe something to push the feud and maybe something hinting that she lied to be able to fight with concussion symptoms, signed a waiver, something
Scarlett and Seven Seg: I laughed. This knowing what’s coming for Scarlett this did a good job of laying groundwork people may not realize she laid. Also love the grunt talk of Seven and Scarletts understanding of it.
BRATS Seg: Good continued introduction of the characters. Curios to see where they go with things when they build heat against an opponent. Brief and to the point isn’t always bad. Only thing I felt might’ve been good would have been to lay a good hint at the controversy that comes with the gimmick. I say that so as not to spoil it.
Best Buds vs Draco and Kit: I’m disappointed in myself for this. I got the Johnny losing again across. What I didn’t convey I needed to is how pissed Draco was over the isolation and double team of his son. That falls on me.
Trixie Seg: I really liked everything about this segment. When I put the belt on Trixie I wasn’t sure about it, but I felt it could help make an interesting feud. Now I think I made the right choice. This had a good flavor of different, character driven, and juggling the interconnection between a few ongoing stories.
Rawlings and Lyric Seg: These are really going to heat up when the focus of Rawlings moves from Teresa to Lyric. The jokes weren’t funny, but THATS what made it funny. I’m also intrigued by the second voice that Lyric hears and how it interacts with the other.
Chance/Jack Seg: I won’t say too much since I write Chance. But he’s a new character for me and I think Jack could prove to be his ultimate foil. Moo seems comfortable with the Jack character.
BRATS vs Rosie and Scarlett Drew did good conveying what I needed in the Adam Lowe part. Match quality I won’t comment on, but given the pedigree of the win, this is a big step for BRATS going forward.
Rikers Seg: I dug this. The smart and philosophical bad ass paired with a psycho. Jupiter really catches my eye. He’s a different kind of character you don’t see much of and this really showed that more so than weeks prior.
Teaser Seg: I know the spoiler so it’s hard to comment
Henhouse Slaughter Seg: This is the most improved on the roster. I’ll be honest, week 1 was a LONG Seg from this duo that was hard to get through because it went on way too long. In recent weeks they’ve cut things down, and are really hitting on something here. This feud with 2X has been really sneaky good. Not as flashy as other stories, but maybe best overall while using old school tropes.
Johnny Payne Seg: This is me. Part of an evolution for Johnny that will be months in the making.
2X vs Rikers: Again I wrote this so can’t say too much. It’s a good way to bring in a new team with a cleanish win and a good continuation of the 2X vs HS story.
Sandman Seg: I’ve been watching Sandman since maybe 2008 and this current version is his best. He continues to flourish here with his journey story. Big difference than the Sandman of week 1 I wasn’t impressed with.
Casey Seg: Another segment of Casey doing what Casey does best, being the relatable face that’s less character and more human. That’s why I like the character. To me it’s that rare fed character that you can relate to.
Slade/Pandora: I like odd pairings of opposites.
Holliday vs Dement: I hated this. Not the writing, Paul did fine, but my booking. I booked myself in a corner. The match was the natural progression of the story, but I’m not yet ready to have Casey or Christian beat. This protected both, but I didn’t like it. That’s on me. I had a misstep.
2X Seg: I’m going to be saying Strawberry Sherbert for weeks to come. Good stuff. I love this direction. I just worry it may move them closer to face over time unintentionally.
Jinx Seg: Did it’s job of showing what a threat Bael is and makes a side character look like a legit threat to beat a main character.
Jake Mason Seg: The character has been directionless. This gave a hint that perhaps that’s over. This was needed. Now if he can just grow that spark.
Rawlings Seg 2: Average Seg. Nothing that will turn heads but sometimes that’s all that’s needed. It set up more of the story going forward.
Lucky vs Slade I loved the small things done in this match like the biting, etc. It showed a lot of the character. Like the ending of the match.
Given all this here’s my awards.
